well now we can say halo 4 is officially dead… i really wanted to see this game work too 
It took 3 months for MLG to do it after we all realized MLG and Microsoft decided Halo 4 was a no-go for competitive players.
Dear MLG - Dangit I would’ve liked a competitive playlist with skill based ranking if only you had convinced them that that was what made so much of Halo’s online community so fun

I fail to see why a fickle and pretentious gaming league dropping Halo 4 makes it dead? MLG always attracts this idea that it’s more important than it actually is.
First MLG CoD 790 views on “pro” scrims…AGL yesterday on some point got 6500 views and at 3am have 2500 views…Give it 6 months and they will suck the master chief -Yoink-.

He was thinking in the best interest of MLG, which is a no brainer when you look at all the work it would take to balance Halo 4 ut, and then think about how much the core demographic will complain about the MLG playlist because it would be balanced well, and not offer all the imbalanced, random luck that Halo 4 offers now.
Call me whatever you’d like but since MLG isnt including Halo 4, how does that make it dead? Its people like you that just need to go onto a different game if you let something as trivial as MLG influence your ability to enjoy a game. Sad…

Sorry, I just like to play a fair game, instead of plain Halo 4.
I am curious as to how Planetside 2 will work in the MLG environment. Sounds like its own niche with 16+ player teams.
Planetside 2 is a fantastic game though, and it is nice to see it get recognized.
MLG was just a bonus to keep the Halo franchise up. They were the bragging rights Halo fans had against, well, every other shooter. I don’t see the fun in watching grown men play Halo to see “who is the best.” If you ask me Pokemon does a better job at that. They were just bragging rights, not a Halo priest.
Also, Planetside has earned its deserved spot!
Halo 4 is too random, luck based. This gun is too powerful, this ability is overpowered, why is there no rank system? MLG said it wasn’t right for them so it must be awful, I don’t like other people beating me because they got lucky it’s not fair it’s not WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Christ on a bike, when did people stop having a little fun on video games and start taking them too seriously?! I like to think Halo CE was about having fun with a few friends, and then Xbox Live came along in Halo 2 and 3, and people started to think rank meant anything.
Shut up, chill out and just enjoy Halo 4. Don’t be an MLG sheep.
MLG dropped it for a reason. If you want to blame someone blame -Yoink!- they’re at fault not 343I this time.
Also H4 isnt dead because MLG dropped it it’s dead because if catered to those casuals (who most likely came over from cod) who only bought it because of the hype. They’re all back to playing the fish.
All thats left at this point are us fans.
