Except NOT making money is how issues are going to be fixed. If people aren’t paying for something, they’ll realize something needs to change.
Making enough money will make them think everything is fine. The gameplay is fine, but the customization is not.
Just because you think it’s meaningless doesn’t mean you should dismiss people’s concerns over the matter. Clearly it isn’t meaningless to a majority of the population, which is what is going to drive the player count further and further down the drain.
You are correct I’m retired at 32 years old live alone and know the ins and outs of how business economics work. (That’s why I’m already retired) making more money gives them the ability to hire more staff pay more coders fix more problems and address more issues.
And I don’t mind that they are charging for cosmetics, it’s how they do it. If there was more default armor/campaign unlocks, would you be less likely to buy an HCS kit? If Armor was unlockable on more cores would you be any less willing to buy it. If you could customize colors, but certain colors and textures costed money, and armor coatings allowed you to color armor in different ways, would you be more or less willing to spend money? I’d be more willing to spend money with these changes. It’s not that I don’t have money to spend, or am not willing to spend it on cooler armors/colors. I’m not happy with the system they have regardless of the monetary cost.
Also, any armors potentially tied to campaign would cost money. The campaign isn’t free.
And itll probably stay that way. Youll have all the money you could want, and be alone. Money cant buy happiness champ. But im sure you knew that. Why else would you come into a post you have no intrest in. To try and force us to be as unhappy as you are
Calm down guys. As much as I want my ODST helmet once again, I can wait. Give 343 a chance. They’ve done a great job with the gameplay. I’m sure they’ll do something with armor customization for us free players.

It’s not even cheaper if you’re buying the campaign. If you buy the campaign and th battle pass the game is actually more expensive, but people justify the monetization as “free to play”.
I’m gonna agree. It’s a great game overall but as someone who paid for the game pass, I was kinda bummed after taking a closer look. Then super bummed after playing a few matches and seeing the snails pace of the challenge xp system.
That said, the game JUST came out and it’s technically still a beta so I think people should check themselves a bit. Lol it is free after all…
