Hard for people to be patient when it seems each day people are datamining what will be in the paid store and the list keeps growing.

I would be fine with just buying the game, Heck Iād be fine buying campaign and multiplayer separately. Just donāt manipulate me with microtransactions and marketing strategies and take away my customization that has never been locked down like this in Halo before. Armor customization is THE reason people grind in multiplayer and its unacceptable to leave it like this. Let us have Halo armor by ranking up and leave it at that.

It wonāt be dead in the same way so many F2P games generally donāt die for several years. The turnover rate is very high though in those games, because most players will start playing and stop after a month or two of getting bored.

Surprised they didnāt take down the youtube video from a few months ago claiming millions of customization combinations being available on day 1. Even if you bought max lvl for the pass and cleaned out everything from the store you still wouldnāt have a fraction of that.

In my years on here, Halo seems to change from one thing to another. Now, the core Halo experience is tied to customization.
If that is indeed so, then those that want this feature should be rightfully outraged.

I donāt want to do it, but I feel like getting the pass with money iāll redeem with Microsoft reward points just to get the ODST helmet. I wonāt buy the pass though. I know theyāll give us a free pass to the items soon.

Itās not the destination as much as the journey. Working to unlock this is rewarding and fun, at least, it was in past Halo games. A lot of the game a lot of people liked is gimped. You may be okay with it, but you donāt need to belittle people who arenāt.

This very well could be true, but looking through this Twitter thread the poster himself who only has 55 followers and is not reputable himself said this is likely false information. He got this information from some random discord he will not share because he is afraid it will get nuked. Let us wait to see if this is real and the outrage justified. It seems a little ridiculous that this got some much traction with no actual proof. Everyone needs to calm down.

I mean if it ends up being wrong i will adjust my post accordingly and apologize. Hell i hope im wrong. But until either 343 speak up or i get a bit of armor from a locker im standing firm.

I still have hope for improvements, because this COULD be an awesome game. Since this is still a beta I will be patient and follow very closely what will happen in the upcoming days.
If it wouldnāt be Halo, I would have left a long time ago. And I am actually not sure a game like Halo will interest the youth of today. They want bright colors and stupid dances and other funny things.

Admirable that you would adjust your post and apologize after riling everyone up and getting all those sweet endorphin hits from all the attention your post got. The point is that integrity is supposed to come first so you donāt have to make a correction later that only a small fraction of people will see. Itās no wonder false information spreads like wildfire everywhere if this is the mindset. Just something to consider for future posts
