Such -Yoink- how The Last of Us is considered an original game, it’s just a damn survival horror game with the same scripted crap ND have been pushing this entire generation. I’ll never understand why it won most original game, and even best of show.
Grats on Halo 4, my game of E3 by miles, deserved more awards, even though it did very well.

I’ve also played Uncharted, got a PS3 myself. But ND’s entire formula for their games presentation is just to script absolutely everything in the game, the actual gameplay doesn’t look spectacular, good but not great. The whole reason it’s getting any attention is because of the way ND are presenting it to be dynamic and non-predictable, even though it’s all completely scripted like Uncharted was. I just think other games (not necessarily JUST Halo 4) are more deserving of the award, AC3 for one.

I actually looked on Google to find the article about the demo being scripted, apparently they say it wasn’t and as well as people who’ve played it behind closed doors.

Yeh that’s the best of E3 as in presentation, awards don’t matter until the game is released and it’s still arguable whether they matter then.

ND have lied before, they at one point claimed Uncharted 3’s graphics were better than they were during the E3 demo and that they were in real time, even though they made it look better than the final game.
Naughty Dog have lied before, and I reckon they are exaggerating a lot with the Last of Us, but we shall see. My main point was why it won most original game, it’s by no stretch of the imagination original, it’s a standard apocalyptic scenario, with the cliche father figure and fragile child (see:Walking Dead game). I just think it’s massively overhyped.
