This update sounds spectacular. No more Sword base and Friendly Fire in Living Dead: It’s about time :). Invasion Breakpoint back: Yes yes yes!!! :D. TU added to Team on Slayer: I love TU and I hope it stays in. Replacing Banshee with Revenant: kinda awkward place for it but nice. New gameype in AS: It sounds really fun. Overall the update looks great and I can’t wait for Tuesday :).

I think 343 is just trying to outdo themselves. I can only hope this momentum grows for every month’s playlist updates.
This is the first of 343’s updates that seems to have been done with any sort of direction or problem solving in mind, so bravo to that.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Team Slayer. I think I’m leaning towards vanilla staying.
Now, for the next update, let’s take a look at Arena and MLG.

MLG controls the MLG playlist, submit all suggestions to http://www.majorleaguegaming.com/ and not here.
By Arena and MLG, I meant adding the Arena system to MLG (I’m quite familiar with where to discuss specific MLG gametypes). 343 is well aware of the MLG community’s desire to do this, and that is up to them.

TU all the way. Wanna know what’s funny? The reason Team Slayer is the most populated playlist on Reach is it’s because it is the very first selection and it always has been. Most people who just play Reach to play Reach and don’t visit the forums probably just hop into Team Slayer without thinking of other playlists. I can’t wait to see the outcome of who picks what because 4v4 straight up TU Team Slayer is going to be awesome.

This. Vanilla might win some of the votes, just because the casuals don’t know.can’t tell the difference. Week 2 is going to be dominated by TU.
O great, not Arena updates what so ever. I hate how I wait every month to see if an update for Arena comes out and nothing happens. Yes we got the TU gametypes but they still kept jetpack and didn’t even bother removing any of the uneven maps.

I am against the Title Update, so for the most part, I hate the February update.
However, it’s about time they did something about betrayals in Living Dead, so I’ll give them credit for that.

Agreed. I feel like the implementation of the TU settings into the Arena during the last update was just to pacify those of us that have wanted changes for months on end…
I didn’t expect any changes to come in February for Arena but I am hopeful that next season we will see some changes. If not people are going to lose it again like the did at the beginning of Season 10. I’ve never seen so much discontent from the community on one issue.

I was pleasantly surprised when they added the TU to arena…I believe that is the only time they acknowleded that it exists…I still don’t even see arena ranks in the waypoint service records (unless I’m missing something?). Wonder if they’ll fix that before Bungie pulls the plug on stats…
