Just gotta play smart. Not that hard really.
Some tips I have found playing LSS and from other BR games
don’t level up until you can get the commando, the disrupter and sidekick is more forgiving of missed shots and is better at range than the mangler.
try to play at distance and disengage when the fight is not going in your favor to either run away or reset. This will also bait out if your opponent has an OS and you can force them to waist it.
Don’t fight an OS opponent directly, anything you can do to run away or break line of sight for as long as possible.
Either end or abandon fights quickly, the longer you are focused on one opponent the morel likely you are to be third partied. Don’t get greedy for kills.
Don’t use the xp boosts unless you have no choice or absolutely know it is safe (no commando by the time it’s down to the final 5 or less) they lock you in position and tell the entire map where you are, they are also often being watched.
Play slow and carefully and stay near the edge of zone and avoid open areas when possible. I like to run the edges of the map, this is riskier than playing an area, but can be necessary to get XP and equipment drops
don’t sprint all the time, and make sure to vary to walking speed and to even stop every few seconds to look around and listen for near by foot steps. If you can play with headphones, do it.
In the final circle/ showdown if you have some lives left and find your self re spawning outside the zone, you may be better off fighting while outside of zone if it means you can land a couple hits first.
Fight from cover and change angles often
grenades are worth their weight in gold and can often be a fight change. Always have them
It maybe not that hard for some people but not everyone is as good as you I hate it when people tell me it’s not that hard when they’re probably about 999 billion times better than me I haven’t defeated all the Halo games in legendary because I suck that bad get rid of challenges in free-for all and Last Spartan standing
Holy hell you got some extra time on your hands to dig this deep into the guys history.
OP does bring up a good point though. Lots of cosmetics can be fairly unattainable for more casual players. It’s easy to forget that not everyone out there is a high skilled player that puts lots of time into video games.
For example, I play with my old man a lot who is 60 years old. He’s not the worst player ever, but for him to get 25 head shots in a free-for-all mode would be damn near impossible.
Lol get good then. I like items like these. Stuff that not everyone can unlock is fine for me
With how much you negatively post about the game im sure you have stockholm syndrome.
I know how you feel, and completely agree. But do what everyone is doing. Camo and camp.
Maps too big for this game type. I would much rather play it on one of the four v four maps.
I don’t level up until I get the commando and shotgun.
Also I wait till other players are fighting and third party then as much as possible. I will actively avoid 1v1 fights be ause that’s how you get third partied easily.
You do know what stockholm syndrome means right?
my brother in christ, 343 only made an optional event mode with a complimentary free rewards track. you getting mad at them is a ‘you’ problem.
What I’m saying is I have to play that game if I want to unlock everything a game mode that I suck and do not enjoy
Lol just get better at the game dude
Everyone has limitations to how good they can get I mean it’s like you have to be a damn machine or something just to be good enough to get play against other players
Extremely difficult and unfun mode. I feel like playing against pros with the worst possible set of rules a game mode can have. Definitely skipping that mode/event regardless of the rewards.
Yeah, and i dont talk to miserable people. Bye.
