So 343 have made it to were all the stuff needs to be unlocked by playing Last Spartan standing I’m not good at playing against other players when it’s everyone against everyone else so they basically made it to where I can’t unlock Jack thank you 343 to making it to where I can unlock anyting

LSS pissed me off until i won back to back and realized its funner during the first half when your using the disruptor and sidekick skipping the mangler levels. Endgame LSS isnt worth staying/playing unless you are in a good position. Breaker has too many ratholes imo.

Luckily next week they will tweak the event settings; the challenges for it will be easier and completing a LSS challenge will unlock two levels of the event pass instead of one.

The thing is casual players like myself like to unlock things but we have to complete challenges that are almost impossible for us or are impossible for us the people like myself are left out now I am more of a campaign player and I know you can’t use your custom Spartan campaign however if a firefight mode is ever added I do enjoy that and I would like to be able to use these cosmetics in a firefight but if I can’t unlock them then that’s impossible

I personally would rather have the Mangler or Assault Rifle, but I have watched plenty of people shred with the Sidekick and Disruptor all the way up to the end. It’s a viable strat if that’s your favorite weapon. I actually like the Commando now. It’s crazy. I used to hate it, but it’s really good as a middle ground for accurate burst spray at a distance, vs Assault Rifle. This mode is super easy to at the very least make it to top 4.
Anyone struggling, my only advice is GRENADES, OVERSHIELD, CAMO. FOCUS ON GRABBING THEM.
Start every fight with an advantage. If you still can’t finish 10 challenges, idk what to tell you. Maybe Halo isn’t for everyone. Halo should never have switched to an E rating. It should have stayed M. Imo Infinite is the easiest Halo ever. (Man I wish Skewer pinned people to walls. M rating would be insanely cool in Infinite.)
The challenge system is a huge grind for sure; definitely really frustrating for casual players and competitive players alike.
The bugs that they’ve said they’re “looking into” for the past 6 months that are still alive and well piss me off. Keep your game together 343 ):

343 doesn’t care that not everyone is good at things like free for all and Last Spartan standing where it is everyone against everyone else I’m okay in some of the game modes where you are playing on a team you know your have teammates those all the game modes the challenges should be set in not a free-for-all or Last Spartan standing because I just suck that much in free-for-all and Last Spartan standing there’s no way I’m going to be able to unlock everything in this current event just because I had to put every special challenge in that new damn game mode
Mode specific event passes and challenges both suck on the fundamental level of forcing the player to engage with the game in a way they may not enjoy.
No matter who you are or how you prefer to play Halo, odds are decent that your weekly challenge deck is going to require you to play modes you’d prefer not to or to spend Swaps. Event passes tied to a certain mode are more democratized insofar as they at least impose roughly the same gametype requirements to all players, but they absolutely suck for players who dislike the mode in question who don’t want to miss out on cool event pass “exclusive” items.
I truly think 343 would get flamed a lot less for the busted challenge system and for these event passes if they’d just minimize funneling players into certain modes to advance.
Where have you been? All 343i ever do is get it wrong:
- MCC launch
- Halo Infinite launch
- gun jamming
- patching skill jumps instead of fixing challenges
- a challenge system worse than trapping my danglies in a car door
- a season based around single player in a game mode called MULTI-player
- balance changes that weren’t needed and provide further difference between ranked and social playlist mechanics
- nerfing the wrong things and forgetting grenades
You could literally post these guys the code and they’d still upload the wrong thing.
They’ve done some good stuff though:
- 1 good new map
- they’re treating their devs well and removing crunch
- PRO players are angry and that is hilarious
- Ravager buff

I also really don’t like LSS. It keeps putting me back to the multiplayer menu too. It’s not fun. Challenge tracking doesn’t seem to work for cumulative scores either.
Uh pro players are angry because they removed skill jumps, there goes the skill gap. The bug fixes also are a huge effect to ranked as well. There’s a reason why pros are mad, it makes sense too, jumps are such a huge aspect to the competitive game.
That’s the thing about Free For All. Winning matches has more RNG involved then normal matches on weither you place good since you no longer have just two teams duking it out. Everything is stacked against you till you’re down to 1 vs 1.
You can be exceptionally skilled and still do poorly if the cards are not in your favor even.
That’s just how it works…

That would be good advice if all those things were spread evenly through the map… if you get spawned miles from them, you’re pretty much screwed. I spawned and stumbled onto a firefight between three people with OS…
Let this be a lesson for them. Never start a season with an event. Don’t advertise all these new modes and things and then pigeon hole people into playing an event instead of trying out everything new.

Sounds like stockholm syndrome to me.
LSS can be barely considered tested, or balanced for the matter, especially with the Breaker map.
The cards are never in my favor because I have no skill and that’s why I suck so badly at it
