Welcome To Regicide

You probably joined in down 20 kills too. Terrible game-type paired with a terrible system. it makes me play Blops 2 tranzit.

wow that’s ridiculous. Isn’t halo about the better player winning? hmm…

Complete -Yoink-, what ever happened to just free for all

Unfortunately, not anymore.

And that is why everyone hates regicide.

Well… excluding the people who are terrible.

Don’t be silly. You must be “old gen”.

Seriously. We get FFA Oddball and FFA KotH (which IMO both play horribly in the throwback playlist, especially KotH) and no standard FFA?

not going to lie a regular FFA would be nice.

Though I must defend regicide on this one, its not really about who has the most kills (that is what FFA is for which we should have), regi is about being smart and knowing when to kill the king. the guy who won that round probably did something like I’ve done anytime I’ve won that game. lay low until they get max bonus then strike. The guy with 29 kills was probably king most of the game and the guy who won probably got a good bit of his kills near the end. The key here is to try and stay within 50-70 points of the leader. Max bonus is 35 two kills near the end of the game could get you the win easily.

regi is all about timing and luck, and i would rather be lucky than good any day.

Halo hasn’t been about that since H3.

funks x is online.

We shouldn’t have Regicide replace regular FFA. This is the huge problem. If they gave us Regicide and FFA, then you can choose which one you want. If I want to play regular FFA, I’d like to at least have that choice.

Also, it’s in a lot of peoples opinions that Regicide is a flawed gametype, for the reason the OP is trying to make. What’s the point of getting kills if its actually more detrimental to you? What Regicide really promotes (and what you’re pointing out) is to not go for kills unless it’s the King, and if you ARE the King, die on purpose to let someone else be the king so you can just get more points easier. That’s terrible.

Excuse me I thought Halo was to have fun guess I am wrong though.
