Weird Stats Bug

Alright, I am having an issue where no matter what, the game is adding the same amount of kills and deaths no matter what.

In the beginning, I had the issue where it wasn’t tracking my stats/achievements at all, which I found out was because telemetry settings I had changed when I first installed windows. After fixing my hosts files, the game was giving me achievements and updating my stats, it’s just updating them completely wrong.

It was happening on my main account (this account), so I thought maybe because it wasn’t tracking stats for a while there is a backlog, but it never corrected. So I made a brand new account and tried it, and it was the exact same thing.

Brand new account, same thing happening. I finished the match 18 kills, 10 deaths yet it gave me 18 kills and 18 deaths on the stats page.

Things I have done/tried:

  • Reinstalled the game/verified integrity.
  • Uninstalled ALL anti-virus, disabled firewall, disabled windows defender.
  • Reset telemetry settings with with O&OS
  • Made sure Connected User Experiences and Telemetry process is running
  • Put my IP in a DMZ (my NAT is open either way)
  • Completely format my PC multiple times. Originally on W10 LTSC (Enterprise), thought maybe it was missing features for it to work properly, so I downgraded to W7. Once it failed there, I went back to W10 Pro. All I did was update the graphics driver and it was still happening.

I don’t know what else to do at this point. I got the stats/achievements finally working, it’s giving the wrong stats lol. I also noticed when I played my first campaign mission, it said I had completed like 6 missions and had 3 hours of playtime even though I had only played the one mission. So I don’t know what is going on anymore.

I’ve had a ticket open for about 5 days now, 4 days since my last response which was just directing me to the support page telling me to whitelist DNS, but I have nothing blocking them. It’s also not a matter of the stats not working, it’s just always matching the exact same amount of deaths as kills.

Yeah, that’s the exact same response I got. I responded 4 days ago explaining to them it has nothing to do with stats not showing up, just that they are completely wrong. I’ve also done every single thing I can think of and every single thing that’s suggested to do yet nothing works so it has to be on them.

Like I said, I responded 4 days ago (almost 5 now) and they haven’t got back to me yet so.

So it looks like they have no idea what to do about it. This with the other -Yoink- that’s been going on, I’ll just be quitting. Hopefully by the time Halo 2 and Halo 3 come out it wont be as buggy.
