Weird Reset Issue - SOLVED / CLOSED

Not sure I have the right place for this and not so much annoyed as wondering what happened.

I fired up Halo: Reach and got the first introduction screen, the one when I first played the game. The "Welcome to Noble Team… " yada yada, pick your armor, first pick your Spartan: Male/Female… etc. etc.

Well in the armory all my armor choices had reset to default. I didn’t loose anything though, 100% unlocked/purchased was still there, but it was all “new”. OK, that’s mildly annoying, and odd. I’ll maybe re-select it all later I decide…

So I go to start a quick relaxing campaign stress blasting… and wth?! All my campaign progress is wiped! I now only have Noble Actual > Game Start. No other levels. And no difficulty levels completed in solo or co-op when I just earlier this morning had all the levels completed legendary both solo and co-op. That is very annoying!

My achievements are all still there. My credits are all still there. My rank is still there. It’s just bizarre.

So, any ideas what happened? Opinions? Was it something 343 did? Is it my hard-drive going bad? Or… what? Has anyone else had this happen?

Common bug on Reach, only thing you can do is re-select your armour and re-play the Campaign.

Thank you The Little Moa. I’d never heard of it before, but then I don’t spend much time in the forums.

It gets weirder, I’d left a campaign mission in progress earlier, Oni, and while it doesn’t show in the select mission screen it let me resume it. Just strange. Oh well, guess I’ll grind through it all again eventually. Something to do until Halo 4 drops lol.
