Weird Red Crosshair During Gameplay

Does anyone know what that red crosshair is for?

I think that is for the ground pound ability. I think, whenever you hold down the jump button, that red crosshair is present.

I don’t like that. The crosshair should only appear when you are actually using ground pound. Hope 343i fixes this.

It’s just because the player accidently hit the “Ground Pound” button when he was doing something else. It shouldn’t happen to you in the game.

Correct. Ground pound is on the crouch button. So whenever I crouch jump it appears.

Thanks for the response. You said that the red crosshair appeared when you couch jumped. I thought that players couldn’t crouch jump with Ground Pound implemented?

You have to hold crouch in the air while looking at a certain angle, we will still be able to crouch jump, though clamber will make it needless.
