I looked through a few pages and couldn’t find anything on this. I assume it has something to do with the recent wave of bans for AFKing and such, but the past 3 times I have signed in to XBL I get a message saying " You have left too many games recently. If you leave any more, you won’t be able to re-enter matchmaking right away" (I just signed out and signed back in and it popped up again). I quit 1 game about 20 games ago, on Monday, and that’s the first game i’ve quit in weeks, if not months. Just curious if anyone else was experiencing this issue.
edit: Actually I did quit 1 game about a week ago, but other than that I can’t recall anything at all.

Strange, I got the same message and I have only quit twice in the last week. But that message is the normal message you get when you do quit to much. Only this time it seems we did not diserve it.

It’s the the system being stupid, it did that to me too even though i never quit any games.

The weird part is I’ve quit 2 games in the past 7-10 days with probably 100+ non-quits, and I can’t even remember the last time I quit before that. Also that it shows up everytime I have logged in for the past 3 days. And no, I def haven’t lagged out of any games. Although I’ve noticed a lot of people have been lagging out games I’m in. IDK if you’ve ever had it happen where some people lag out and get put into their own game while the first game still continues, essentially splitting the game in two, then only 1 game actually counts while the people who were moved into the other game it counts as a quit/loss. This has happened to me a few times but no recent ones. I looked on my service record though and don’t have any unaccounted-for quits.
I raged quit four games in a row yesterday, and every time I sign in since I get the quit-ban message. I haven’t quit any games in weeks before yesterday, however the message is slightly annoying, especially when it randomly decides to pop it’s ugly head up mid-game.
I’m not sure how long the quit-ban warning lasts before you can quit another game, however it’s common knowledge that the quit-ban system has numerous errors. The only thing you can do is leave a concern in one of the numerous feedback threads.
The way you wrote your OP, “I quit a game 20 games ago or maybe a month, oh wait i quit one just before” makes me think you quit games often(often as in couple times a week or so)adding that to any disconnections you get which count as quits might be a reason your getting the message.

… If I was trying to hide how much I secretly quit don’t you think I would leave the edit out remembering that I quit another game a week ago? And the fact that I specifically remember what day it was on doesn’t strike you as “odd” for a habitual quitter? I didn’t even remember that I had quit that game until like 30 min later. I guarantee I have less than 20 legitimate quits (not including lag-outs) out of my 3,000+ Reach games.

I wasn’t accusing you have been a habitual quitter, Just saying if you quit often that might be why you got the message and since you don’t quit often it’s obviously not the reason for the message.
Also it’s good to see you don’t quit games :).
But I don’t think anyone can give you a legit answer to why your getting the message because your obviously don’t quit to be put on a quit ban so it’s a glitch(I’ve heard rumors the ban hammer has been a bit promiscuous lately). To be on the safe side I wouldn’t quit any games while getting this message just in case it has accidentally put you on probation.
