So I just got the Top gun medal after my 3rd kill. I actually only got 6 kills the entire game cause I joined late. Took a screen shot of my of the post game recap showing my score and medals. Idk what could of caused it
So the game thinks you got 6 kills when you only had 3? Multiplayer can be weird sometimes in the Halo series in general. In Reach I’ve assassinated myself, in Halo 4 my weapon fell out of my hands to where I was holding nothing, In halo 3 my warthog became invincible because bad internet at the time.
Save a clip and remember the weirdness.
Last week I got Top Gun after my first kill. Strange, for sure.
Happened to me as well. Joined a game and started me at 5 kills. Hit a killing frenzy after 5 in a row.

I’ve gotten plenty of “perfect kill” medals somehow as well.
This has happened to me too but with the infector medal (zombie infection double kill). I die and then, when I respawn and infect a single person, it gives me this medal a lot of the time. Not as weird as what some of you guys are experiencing but still weird…
I once saw a clip of someone getting a killing spree after 4 kills. It has never happened to me though.
