Weird Level Changing Glitch

I’m really adoring The Master Chief Collection, but I just ran into this one strange bug.

I just finished Assault on the Control Room on Heroic difficulty. When it loads up the next level (which should be 343 Guilty Spark), it says that it’s loading The Library. But it starts at 343 Guilty Spark anyway, so no big deal.

But here’s where it gets weird; I quit the level, then I notice that, under “Resume”, it shows The Library level. Out of curiosity, I reloaded my save and… it started me at the beginning of The Library.

I checked my mission progress, and it says that I actually completed 343 Guilty Spark on Heroic, even though I didn’t actually complete it yet (no do I even have the achievement for it.)

I didn’t make much progress in 343GS (I quit right after the level began), so I wasn’t totally mad that my Checkpoint was lost, but I feel it’s important to bring this up, in case there are similar glitches for other level transitions.

Similar thing happened to me. So I finished guilty spark twice and that was a pain because the flood are the worst part about halo! Basically both times when I got to the cut scene at the end of that level, my xbox gets loud and it sounds like the disk is grinding. Then the screen goes black and then the game crashes. It says I beat it, but it never gave me the achievement for the level, nor for finishing the campaign. Let me know if you have a resolution!
