Weird experience

Sometimes when I play this game it feels like the player I am shooting at is staring at my screen while I am aiming at him. It’s really annoying. Is this happening to anyone else?

Sounds like hacking. He’s probably watching you through a wall before he actually “sees” you

its probably the motion tracker after playing halo since '03 i can basicly read what your going to do if I’m watching it close enough. with enough map knowledge, i can tell exactly where you are inside its range as long as you are moving and if you stop moving without a name popping in the kill feed i know you are still there or crouch walking around

There is a difference between that and snapping. Id have to watch the gameplay to see but I know what your talking about

gotta say i’ve been accused of “snapping” but the person who did accuse me of it was horribly negative in that match. i’ve also set up my elite v2 to make the aim assist far more noticeable because my god its terribly weak on xbox

I’ll tell you one thing. The aiming is the only thing I don’t have an issue with. I prefer the Halo 5 Magnum but overall aiming is really easy because if the aim assist. Its almost like I’m not even playing. I’m just looking

I don’t use aim assist and your saying exactly what a hacker would say in defense of other hackers!

I like the halo 5 magnum and still think it and the dmr should be in halo:infinite instead of the commando rifle and the current side arm, the side kick.

LMAO, umm if you use a controller you use aim assist

You mean engaging in combat. Right?

If you shoot at a player, or they shoot at you, there’s a good chance both of you will face each other at some point.

Pretty simple explanation dude.

also i quit playing this game because its still in alpha/beta, between lag, hit registration, broken melee and desync i’ve had enough. i’ve gone back to playing skyrim and dirt rally 2.0 at least those game are fun and work properly, this game is more broken than PUBG when it first launched on xbox and it gets worse everyday

I’m not sure but on a completely unrelated note apparently cognitive behaviour therapy and antipsychotic medication are really good for paranoia.

I’m no stranger to combat simulators like halo. Thanks for weighing in anyways.

That’s not entirely true.

Not weighing in, explaining how the game works to someone who clearly doesn’t understand it and/or is being purposefully vague to bait for conflict.

You’re welcome.

@Trand0

That is you still weighing in and making non-factual accusations. I’m not trying to start a conflict. I’m simply defending my self.

I’m aloud to be vague. 343, Halo, or etc does not pay me. I am not a socialist. I guarantee what I am being vague about isn’t life or death related.
The monitors are rather vague and should be either trained better or replaced. If I could post a picture I’d show you how purposely vague these monitors are and how easily manipulated they are by a popular idea like banning me for leaving matches early

Lol.

I like this game and maybe don’t know how everything works in Halo:Infinte. In previous Halo video games and even other video games there was always some sort of Tutorial (which there is one) or YouTube videos from Halo or the developers actually explaining how it works.

I’ve experienced some rather unethical s**t while playing Halo.

I hope this thread explains what the hell is going on soon and it’s not like lost where it’s all a dream.

This is on a par with the swat would be ok with shields thread yesterday :exploding_head:

Little bit out of place to feel the need to defend yourself on a topic that’s offered some pretty agreeable replies. Putting more effort into your unnecessary defense post rather than into the situation your posting about is a bit of a red flag.

Perhaps calling someone a hacker when they simply ask why you’re not playing with aim assist could be considered a radical jump to conclusions and slightly hyperbolic? Or when someone tries to piece together your experience/concern and you respond with a curt shutdown of conversation, could be easily interpreted as some form of conflict. Suggesting “unethical” practices occurring in game, bit of a steep claim to just leave off as a cliffhanger. And that’s only on this thread, plenty of other examples of intentional conflict through insults and offensive takes.

There’s no need to defend yourself if you’re not creating conflict in the first place. I’m not fueling this entirely unnecessary fire any further.

Self defense is my right, regardless if I started a conflict or not. A controversial topic is not a stranger to conflict.
If you’d like to continue to pick apart my comments and etc we can do that. So long as it doesn’t get reported for being off topic, which it is. I don’t have to explain my self to you or have to do it publicly.

I’m not sure what your referring to as a curt shutdown. The monitors are characteristically attempting to put a hult? to conversations.
That steep cliff is there for a perfectly good reason.

My hacker comment was partial a joke and to enlighten those viewing it that it could be the response of a hacker or the hacker.
