Weird area in campaign?

I saw a weird area while going around the map, and I’m wondering if anyone knows if it has a purpose or not.
It’s surrounded by flowers and has what I think are letters on it.
I’m guessing it’s a grave, but I’m not sure.

It’s on a mountain to the west of FOB Lima past the gap, to the direct west of the locker that’s by FOB Lima.

You found the Forerunner Tomb.
I stumbled across it a coupe weeks ago.
I’m going to have to search for what those two sigils on the tombstone mean. I think they are Halo CE Anniversary / Halo 4 Terminal sigils if I recall correctly.
