That concept art!

H5’s maps’ look so original that it’s as though a super Mario map was officially included in H5’s maps.

Maybe I’m just that drunk, but it appears that there is just enough for buyer’s remose.

I don’t get what you’re trying to say… maybe you are drunk indeed as you say…

Thank’s erickyboo

Umm… Why did they put information about a 343 in-house creation process in the COMMUNITY Spotlight??? Wow… Just don’t include a Community Spotlight section if you’re not going to actually put a spotlight on someone/something made by someone within the community.

The drill pit in particular. I ain’t extrapolating further than that, I’m playing Demon’s Souls.

It’s late, I’m tired. Could you point out to me where it says that Jim McCrea works for 343? I understood him to be working with Stony Props and the 405th - both of which would fall under the Halo community umbrella?

But the 405th isn’t in an in-house creation. They are made up fans from the community.

You’re correct - My mistake.

I still don’t like the fact that they failed to bother finding one Waypoint community creation though. I’m not any sort of forger, but I understand how important things like featured spots in the Community Spotlight are for them. Given the fact that H2A boasts a robust variety of maps (a whole whopping six!!! omg!!!), it’d be nice to know they’re at least looking for suitable remakes coming from the community to increase overall variety and interest. Lastly, 343 has yet to make a Halo game with a fully working File-Share File and File-Browser. That said, maybe helping out the forge community that was so awesome/helpful during Halo 3 and Halo: Reach lifespans…just maybe they could try to start rekindling that relationship. Or maybe we can just look at a bunch of helmets and stuff from people who 343 reps tweet about and retweet fairly often. Ah never mind. LOL. Who cares, am I right? LOL.

“Community” is not just forge. It encompasses a wide range of interests that appeal to a lot of different people. Just because you didn’t care for Locke’s helmet, doesn’t mean others out there aren’t appreciative of having the information shared.

I never said anything about not liking Locke’s helmet. I acknowledged you were correct, and I had made a mistake. Explained one very small and simple thing I feel like 343 ought to make a point to do. I never said Locke’s helmet didn’t have a place. I just think that if the Waypoint Community Creations are not worth a weekly mention (like Bungie did for years, and 343 continued for a while), then I just wonder why this Waypoint Weekly Update isn’t just tweeted out in random segments to the general “Halo Community” where everyone from 405th/Stony Props to Team Beyond is equally underneath one cozy umbrella. As a Waypoint monitor whom interacts with the Waypoint Community on a daily basis, and reads these Waypoint-specific Community Updates, do you disagree that the Waypoint Creation Community is deserving of a weekly mention/paragraph in the Waypoint weekly update? I dunno…it just seems like a fair and decent thing to do from my perspective. Lol. But then again, I’m just a consumer lol! Really, what do I know? Lol!

I like these updates, however they should implement some more community creations when halo 5 launches. They could include montages, fan art, game modes, maps, fan videos, machinimas, community events, etc. I think it would be pretty cool and the community would be more engaged. Maybe even throw in a community creations page. They could even let us vote in armor, skins, and emblems made by the community to be put in req packs, similar to what steam does with csgo.

Again, I have no problem with what they do now, but having some more community interaction would be a great thing to see and would probably be good for the game in the long term.

Still don’t get it.

And don’t misdirect your anger Carlthon.

Also, yay for dominion!

Once again, the update is full of H5 stuff. I want to know what/if they’re fixing in MCC. It really is as though they’re trying to sweep MCC under the rug at this point.

MCC works fine now. And they aren’t sweeping the MCC under the rug, they have a whole section on every Community update dedicated to announcing playlist updates and fixes to the game.

Yes, they have that tiny little snippet about MCC. However, there are still issues that need addressed. There are still major features that need implemented. We have been told that there is work being done on another game update, but we haven’t been told anything more about it. I realize that they can’t give a release date for it as those tend to be tentative. But, they could at least tell us what they’re working on with it. These MCC patches used to come out regularly, but now we haven’t seen one in months and can’t even get any info about it.
