Weekly rewards are just plain lazy! Do something different!

Yet again… the third time the same symbol has come up as an ultimate reward for the weekly challenges but this time for your amour… honestly come on guy’s! Keep all the novelty amour in the store but give some cool amour that actually shows your skill by earning it on these rewards. Stop being lazy and give some good rewards that isn’t paint related

I highly doubt they are going to throw in armor for the weekly reward. And frankly, personally I don’t think they should. I think it should be a weapon shader or something to that effect.

maybe not armors or effects… but i will say, something other than the same sodding emblem would be nice. like weapon/vehicle skins, charms, or at least visors. nothing too good, but something more than just… cntrl+c and cntrl+V

Why would they? The way they set up emblems allows them to just shove a bunch of emblems in the weekly reward so they can put the actual good stuff in the store. It’s all a money play

Yeah I’m not one to play a game I don’t want to play, but if I’m half considering playing Halo or another game then this isn’t tipping me over to Halo.

If the weekly reward was something I even moderately thought I might want then I’d be playing tonight for a couple of hours easy.

The visor from last week was a good reward. We should get a wrist attachments, chest pieces, helmets, armor/weapon/vehicle coatings (a coating should apply to all but whatever), helmet attachments, emblems (only if they apply to EVERYTHING), utilities, knees, shoulders. Not the same emblem over and over and over or some backdrop

A lot of problems would have been avoided if Emblems and Coatings were treated as a single cosmetic unlock that can be applied to everything.

And now here we are.

I don’t get what 343’s problem with creating sensible inventories is. In Halo 5 they did the same thing with all the alternate versions of armor and helmets. Instead of treating it like skins for an existing armor or helmet set they treated them like their own armor pieces and flooded the hell out of their UI with copies of junk.

Yeah, this is becoming utterly asinine at this point, and it’s not even a cool emblem, much less worth unlocking 3 separate times for my weapons, armor, and vehicles. Meanwhile, the store has a seemingly never-ending supply of cosmetic bundles. We should honestly get credits for completing the Weekly Ultimate to spend in the store.

They’ve had like 2 good weekly rewards and the one I actually wanted I missed (the armor coating in like week 2)

Every other time I’ve played it’s been a damn emblem or spartan id thing. I defend a lot in this game, but I’m with you guys on this, the weekly rewards are trash.

Look let’s be frank, 343 made a good game when it comes to gameplay,. It that’s it… In terms.of Live service 343 is beyond incompetent on how to design a live service game.

Seriously how hard was it to just make things universal, the coatings universal, allow us to buy thing individusl items in the budles with the bundles providing a 10-20% discount for buying. It in the bundle…

This company is. Ring beyond Stingey and lack creativity in this feild

I hope I’m wrong, but I just can’t see them putting anything amazing up for grabs, like a helmet, as the ultimate reward, because they know the majority of people will just buy it if they put it in the store.

Remember, that emblem was originally part of the reduced to just 100 levels 120 levels battle pass.

They said content is ready for the entire first year. So I say they are just being evil to the players

Also the bundles play in that direction you only received in the $20 a “legendary” item and a too many logos so you can say I get a lot of items so it’s worth it but they are just the same logo.

agreed i hated halo 4 especially after they nerfed the BR in favor of the lore obsolete DMR. Yeah the game functionlly is fine minus a few hiccups ,but really the creativity is lacking, they could have ported some older maps from halo 3 and such, which honestly at this point would make the game better , but the lack of forge and assault(along with griffball) on launch is very dissapointing. This is the second time 343 has launched a game that i know of without Forge, I think MCC lacked forge on launch…

YUP for the first year try are going to be selling us the remaining 50 default colors.

We only got 10 and they paywalled the other 50 that we got for free in Halo 5

Just shows how Stingey and in creative they are

No one at 343 thought maybe hey why not just make the other 50 colors unlockable through gameplay for each core…

Naw let’s just take that content away and resell it back.

At this point it almost feels like they gave us an incomplete game and we have to pay to peice it back together

Holy crap I think I just figured out why we don’t have a way to Earn In Game currency.

Ok hear me out. 343 purposely did this for 2 reasons.

1 to artificially inflate the sales numbers of The 4th quarter financial report with a new product

  1. They are going to see what the overall revenue was… Than they will calculate how much of those total sales without earnable credits they are willing to lose.

Than they will take that number and average it amongst the highest player count they received.

To formulate how many credits we can earn to ensure they stay under that acceptable loss of potential revenue.

Once this is complete they will make some huge announcement that a update is coming that’s going to bring a way to earn credits in game.
