Will one EVER be released? I’m talking about an ALL BLACK, every detail on the spartan is blacked out.

We’ve never really been able to have a full black Spartan except in like H2A, the best they can do is always just dark grey.

Can we get more coatings that aren’t black, red, or grey before we get more black, red or grey armors?

There’s a coating near the end of the S1 battle pass that is basically all black for the MkV core.

And there’s a campaign coating for the MkVII core that is basically all black

On the challenge, trying to figure out what qualifies as a Kinetic Semi-Auto or Burst Firing weapon… I presume Battle Rifle since it is a 3 round burst, and Pistol is a Semi-Auto…

Guessing AR and Commando are just fully automatic, even if I treat Commando like a burst weapon…

Have to get the “Perfect” medal for the kill.

Anything else?

kinetic is generally some type of fast moving projectile, or bullet.

Most UNSC weapons and… Brute weapons can be considered Kinetic I believe…

Gotten two with the battle rifle, but it for love of me will not give me the third and final one. Got cheatted out of like 3 last round, only thing I can figure is that someone else on my team delt a little damage before hand. I presume the conditions are.

  1. Kinetic Semi-Auto or Burst Weapons Only
  2. You must do 100% of the damage
  3. You must land every shot ( Get the Perfect Medal )
  4. All damage must be delt with 1 weapon, no grenades or what not

This actually feels like a challenge at least. Finally…

This is exactly why 343 added outlines. CoD added a pure black skin the other month, it sold thousands day 1, and people just hid in dark corners and bushes for months. Happens every single time any FPS gets a black skin

There are a few super dark black coatings on MKVII, but they have a bit of other colors on them, like red or blue, so that’s the best you can get atm. A couple were sold once during Season 1, there’s a pretty dark one from Campaign, and an HCS one that’s pure black with some blue and camo

Yea but there arent really many (any?) dark corners or bushes in Infinite. I dont know if it would be much of an advantage to the player here.

Night maps in general, idk. I guess it doesn’t matter too much in Forge maps? It might not be an issue in the moment, but when we had Last Spartan Standing, everyone wore gray or brown with no effects, so they stood out less, even me.

The less attention you draw to yourself, the more invisible you are to the brain. Bright contrasting colors grab your attention. Dull and dark colors that sort of match the environment or lighting don’t grab your attention. That’s why 343 made the outlines I guess.

Likely the same reason that the Wasp is the ONLY vehicle that doesn’t get a sky blue coating, and the off blue coating from campaign has a bright orange cockpit for visibility

Redacted Records for MkV is not even dark grey, let alone black.

Not sure what the MkVII one is but I think it’s the one that’s super scuffed up. If so it’s base colour is fairly dark but the super scuffed up look lightens the colour a bit.

I dont even mind the Gladiator’s Edge armor but it has that stupid bling all over it.

I want to really understand this weeks challenge. I don’t aim as well as some of y’all, but when I fire a rocket and it kills you with one rocket isn’t that effective enough? Like I don’t have 120hz refresh, and I have DSL ISP so my stuff lags at times, I feel like this weekly accomplishment is out of my reach, can anybody give me some tips or tricks to help??

You’re talking about for getting the “Perfects” ? They have to be headshots; 1 shot with the shock rifle or 3/4 burst from the BR are most likely the easiest way to get it done.

You mean that Tin Foil like texture all over the Spartan/Weapon? Yeah, I decided to just use it on the Pistol and that’s it. Just not my thing.

Not precisely sure honestly. It was apart of the HaloWC 2022 Victory Bundle on the Shop back in late October.

It popped up after a tournament ended if I recall, so it’s unclear if it’ll be back anytime soon, or… if at all.
