Same here. Nothing is tracking properly.
Played a few games of CE Auto Slayer and it didn’t track but now doing H4 SWAT and it’s tracking fine. Had a similar problem where Arcade Firefight didn’t track PvE kills but hopped into a custom match to test and suddenly the challenges started progressing. Seems like it’s on a mode by mode basis, at least for me.
It’s resetting back to 0 and not tracking the points. I just finished a game and got some challenges completed, while others were still at 0.
I made sure I played the correct game mode as well. The past challenges I did today went back to 0.
I think its just bugged for some games because I played two games of CE, won both and no challenge progress. Then I played 1 game of reach and won and I got progress for playing games and winning games.
i was only playing Halo CE MP…so that looks like the culprit from what i can tell from these comments.
I’m have had the same problem unfortunately. Although my game crashed and when I booted it up again I lost some, but not all of my weekly pvp challenges. I lost 2 match completions and a win.
so looks like when i rebooted, i got the same error as some other players: progress just vanished on some of the general PVP challenges…again i was only playing Halo:CE…so maybe it will be fine playing other games? but this is seriously bad on QA and the devs…i get WFH is pretty tough…but don’t ship garbage and test your systems on a staging environment…

If you sign out and the sign back in (while your are in the game), you should be able to “refresh” your challenges (this solution has helped me with the resetting challenges).

It seems like they fixed it but now PvE challenges are not tracking for me anymore
I completed a full halo 3 campaign playlist and the progress bar on the challenge was full but now it says I’ve made no progress
