I think 343 should have either a poll, or their choice of a player submitted map to be put in the arena each week. Much like the holiday or weekend game types, each week players can play slayer, breakout, swat, or whatever on a map created by a halo 5 player/player. This will give file sharing more use, and give players a awesome way to show off their skills and hard work they’ve put into making maps. What do you guys think?
I disagree.
There is a forum section that people can use to post their creations. We don’t need to happen again what happened with Reach. A small group of self appointed know it alls who like to dictate to others what they think a good map is.
Before the naysayers come in here to battle me; this is how it happens. A group starts to band together on the forums (usually friends) and they start bumping each others threads and constantly bring up a said map. Over time the community is conditioned to believe this and others whoay have amazing looking and great playing maps get disregarded.
Then the rest of the community completely gives up on trying to even make anything new or different because it has became an unspoken rule that, why try, no one is gonna listen or look unless you’re friends with the "special"group.

This is actually a thing on Forgehub, if you’re new, they won’t say a word about what you’ve posted, if you’re not in the tight knit group, you basically are always going to be ignored…
No, just no. We don’t need forge maps in matchmaking, the current btb ones are bad enough. Doing this woll just gove 343 an excuse tp be lazy and not release brand new maps as mich…

Would it be the same map constantly, or would it be new maps, but only the new ones that group forged? If the former, just make it not a forum thing and just a plain poll with the requirement of a new, unvoted on, map each week.

@Badmagik Never really thought of it like that, so good insight. @Verses Fatum I actually found out about websites like those not too long after I posted this. haha Now with the knowledge of websites like forghub, I’m thinking that it would be cool if there was an in game mass file sharing thingy of some sort. For people who aren’t aware about websites like forghub, this would make it really easy to get maps and gametypes.

I was thinking a new map each time. Like a 1 time only map until the week is over, unless you go and bookmark it.
