Best way to do it is in a custom Firefight game:
- From the START menu, select FIREFIGHT.
- Change the Spartan traits so you’re invincible, have bottomless clip, do 300% damage, and are immune to headshots and assassinations.
- Set your primary weapon to Rocket Launcher.
- Change the waves so that all enemies are Elite Generals; this is for two reason:
- There’s very few of them per wave, so you kill them quickly and can move on to the next wave.
- They give the most points (if you’re also trying to unlock the Heat In The Pipe achievement).
- Set the Firefight waves to UNLIMITED.
- The challenge wants you to complete four sets on Heroic, but if you set the Wave limit to 4 (meaning you can’t start the 5th set) then the game doesn’t register as you having completed four sets. You MUST start the 5th set in order for the challenge to unlock.
- Make sure your network is set to LIVE and not LOCAL. You will be playing splitscreen with a second controller on your console, but your network needs to be connected to Xbox Live.
- Turn on Controller #2 and sign in as Guest. Set the difficulty to Heroic.
- Start the game, then pause it and select CHALLENGES from the pause menu. Make sure “ENDURE: THE RETURN” is in white text; this means you can unlock it.
