So I hop on today to work on the weekly challenges so I can get the sniper rifle coating and even though the joint fire event is still going on I noticed none of my challenges required me to play it which was fantastic. I proceed to complete like 70% of the challenges and go back in to see what else I had to do and they had all reset to 10 new joint fire challenges. I basically wasted my time and effort playing other matches for those challenges to be erased and once again have to play this crappy covert one flag mode. I really wanted that coating but at this point I’m just so livid that the challenges weren’t updated properly when I started playing and they didn’t update until after numerous games in. Did this happen to anyone else?
Same, have no desire to play that new mode either as it’s shockingly unbalanced. I already have the weapon skin thankfully as it’s a repeat I believe.
Don’t they always update around this time on Tuesday? I’ve been on when the weekly refresh happens and it does void out prior challenges.
I think he means that after the weekly update he first got ‘normal’ challenges and then they changed to event ones.
I think it’s just because something went wrong and the system loaded up normal challenges in stead of event ones and they quickly rectified it.
Yea since I’m on the east coast they normally update at 1pm and that is when I will hop on during my lunch break to try to knock some challenges out. Played about 40 minutes and then they all changed to brand new joint fire event challenges. Its just frustrating first of all to have to play covert one flag which I don’t think is a great mode but also to think you have made a decent dent in your challenges only to find out you wasted your time. Not a lot of time was wasted but still…
Oh! That sucks then. I’ve been on when they’ve updated and it’s usually booted me out of the game.
You’re probably right that they uploaded the wrong playlist or it glitched. At least he didn’t lose a lot of time.

I just finished three challenges in one match, but when I check my challenge list they’re all still there, and there is no progress on them.
The time to reset the challenges says -21:-23:-30 and it’s counting.
EDIT: I rebooted the game three times and it’s all good now.
