i’m worried this will make the game go to the grave very early, and even if it doesn’t it will be an unpleasant progression, i’m not just talking about battle pass progression, but the fact that some challenges are so situational like for example “kill an enemy spartan with a sniper rifle after they’ve been launched by a man cannon or grav lift in pvp” also the fact that they make people not play for the objective and get distracted looking for their weapon for their respective challenges or the kill, can tier 3 challenges just be “make 50 headshots” “obtain 5 objectives medals” “get 5 kill sprees” etc. etc. just like in the mcc? and instead of “destroy 1 wraith” or “destroy 5 warthogs” just “destroy 1 vehicle” “destroy 5 vehicles” these are some god awful challenges and they suck -Yoink!- to unlock the weekly reward, i’m not a fan of this and from what i’ve seen no one else is, just making this post to make noise.
Whats even better is that some challenges are bugged and cannot be completed, i have tried desperately to finish the “kill a spartan with a heatwave” challenge and everytime i do, i check back after the match and the challenge is still there
that’s happening to me with the “kill with the m247 HMG turret” but instead of focusing on that i’d rather they change the whole challenges instead of being so situational and specific, like. Why pursue one gun and not just kill while you play? these challenges are very intrusive with gameplay.
Agreed. It would be better if one bot battles could take place on BTB maps and all challenges could be accomplished in all game modes not just PvP. Those challenges pissed me off the most. Since I am not the best player I tend to mess up on challenges like kill a spartan with a sniper rifle while not zoomed in, in a pvp match. I got the rifle but kept getting killed before I could use it or no enemy nearby and would missed.

the best we can all do is something i’m not very good at, make noise on the internet, just everyone make posts asking for them to make the weekly challenges more like mcc and give a like to other posts like that, so i’ll just be looking for similar posts and give them a like and i hope y’all make some posts like that, we keep it civil and give good arguments, they’ll hear us out
