Weekly Challenge is a Bitch

Who’s bright idea was it to implement killing sprees in fiesta for the weekly goal? I mean seriously. Ground out all the others and then get hit with that one. I mean come on. If it was one killing spree, that would be doable, but 5? I’m sorry. But for a game with super unbalanced weapons, to put an achievement behind that mark is just plain stupid.

It’s a pain in the butt but you can do it, even if you have to creep around and cheese it a little bit. Try and find rockets, sword, hammer or cindershot and try to stay alive.

Yeah I finally did all my challenges, then that challenge popped up and I knew I wasn’t getting it. Also doesn’t help that 80% of the time I spawn in with the trash pulse carbine and a pistol.

Five killing sprees in Fiesta is absolutely doable.

not when you hit someone with a gravity hammer 3 times and they don;t die

Then you either aren’t looking in their direction when you swing or you aren’t close enough.

I was right next to them

Then you have to aim in their direction. It works differently than previous Halos.

To be honest I think it’s just ridiculous that you get through all the other weekly challenges and then it gives you get another. Especially when the final challenge can be impossible for some people.
It just feels like you’re being cheated right at the end. The system needs to be to just finish all weekly challenges with no “ultimate challenge”

This. so much this. It feel so demorlizing to grind game after game to lose spree progress because you’re got unlucky

Or make all weeklies progress at the same time like MCC. I’m sure many of us got 5 fiesta killing sprees while leveling up that event. Not making them all available at start just allows them to re-use some challenges, makes us take longer, makes us miss out on things, and of course promotes their challenge swaps to avoid certain challenges.

I think they need harder challenges

yep, it’s a really terrible challenge. I had to do it twice, ten sprees because the yanrei event challenge was the same thing as the ultimate. I didn’t even know you could swap the event challenges out, i was under the impression you couldn’t for some reason.

If one of the challenges was just multi-kills it would have been so much less bearable.

It’s a frustrating one for sure. I thought I had mine all knocked out till I saw that one last night. Took me 6 games. Unfortunately you need to play the weapons and not worry about wins.

Is it doable: yes, I got 3 before I unlocked it.

Is it stupid: hell yeah. Especially since by the end of the week that’s all anybody is going to be chasing.

I saw it and just stopped playing. I cared more about the battlepasses than a coating I’d never use anyways.

Sighs in 10-20 KD
Sword/Hammer+Thrust/Grapple=Win
Rockets and Snipers/Skewer is also very valid at a distance, due to needing time to reload and keep away from Swords/Hammers

Don’t be impatient, don’t run around in the open, don’t be afraid to camp, and don’t be afraid to crouch around.
If you don’t spawn with a good weapon, ambush someone that has a good weapon with a back smack and take theirs. Fiesta is all about upgrading your current garbage by killing enemies and taking their better stuff. Quit relying on RNG and play with a strategy or friends on mic for better teamwork.

I did it with the assault rifle. To quote Aristotle,
