so my brother and i have been attempting laso (mythic difficulty) via system link and have been trying to complete it only to run into problems along the way,always about 3 missions in we will be fine and then something stupid will like we will dc from xbl (i’ll go further into this later) happen or will take a break and somebody else in our household will shut the one of the xbox’s of and forces a player into solo mode thus breaking the co-op or solo no mix matching in between so we’d have to restart again. no back to the dcing and the main portion of this topic i do feel that the challenge was not completed because i wasn’t connected to xbox live which i believe to be nonsense as it is a campaign challenge and it should be able to be completed offline out this is a cause of not unlocking the challenge because when we dced he reconnected and i didn’t. so we restarted the campaign and upon completion of the level infinity we decided to take a break i knew that the infinity and beyond challenge was the weekly challenge and completing the level on laso would most definitely unlock it so when i went to check, it said i hadn’t completed it. so i went into the other room and asked my brother and sure enough he got it so. my question is why can’t we complete campaign challenges offline? and is there any way i can be deemed with the completion of that challenge and the the completion of “dawn,requiem,forerunner, and infinity” because this laso challenge is really starting to be more of a pain in the -Yoink- than it already is

Challenges only actually show up online - it’s how they are delivered to your console and game.
Once you disconnect, the challenges are no longer there to prevent cheating, etc.

As The Little Moa said, challenges are an online Halo 4 service. When you are not on XBL, then the service temporarily terminates, as a preventative to cheating. It isn’t helpful when your XBL connection is spotty, but that’s the way it works. Sorry about that.
