Weekly Bulletin is Up. Link inside.

http://blogs.halowaypoint.com/Headlines/post/2012/12/12/The-Halo-Bulletin-121212.aspx

The weekly bulletin addresses some of the threads that are coming up on the forums.

They talk about fileshare, new playlists, and the addition of small maps in matchmaking.

A good bulletin that shows that they are listening. Great news for everyone.

Enjoy.

Nice to see they are listening  also great to see how much stuff we get in January. Grifball, TD, CSR, Spartan ops 6-10, and forge maps to matchmaking? That’s awesome.

A quick summary of what it contains…

-Fileshare is being worked on, no ETA still
-Team Slayer Pro is being removed next week for “tweaks” and will return next year in January/February, most likely will be the new MLG playlist with CSR.
-Double Team and Grifball are being worked in for playlist addition, no ETA
-Small Maps are in development, possibly next map pack

That’s pretty much the most important information about Halo 4 MP.

And no word about when they plan to unlock specializations for everyone.

Well played, 343, well played.

People just can’t be happy now, can they?

These things are awesome dont get me wrong… BUT… Why in the world are they removing something without adding something new… Like idk multi team or FFA… Instead they are doing this “to get to our preferred number of playlist”… Seriously??

Why in the world would they have a set number of playlists?? And should it not be the ones WE THE COMMUNITY prefer… I just don’t understand what they are doing… They must want ppl to just not play their game or buy any type of 343i product because it is clearly about them and not the ppl that pay their salaries!

Payed 60 bucks for a game and got a beta instead. Just sayin

It may have to do with the holidays. BS even stated that there may only be one or two bulletins posted in the next few weeks.

Right… This also leads me to believe that they will not be adding any new playlist until after said vacation, which is also frustrating…

It can’t be that hard for them to add a couple rotational playlist and leave them until January, even if it was ones we’ve had like snipers

It appears that in the meantime, the infinity competition will be added, so we will have the same number of playlists that we have been having.

" Matchmaking playlist updates from December 17 to January 19 (the duration of the tournament) will focus on the Halo 4 Infinity Challenge. Each week of the Infinity Challenge, there will be a featured playlist for you to compete in. Infinity Slayer will be kicking off the festivities, so dust off your loadouts and prepare your D-pad for some serious ordnance action. "

Once, the infinity competition ends, it will probably be replaced with the fixed TS Pro or something else.

Yeah especially for the File Share: “We recognize this is not an optimal situation, and we’ll continue working on it until it reaches shipping quality

Pretty obvious this game wasn’t finished.

He’s not. You are. you’re upset that he doesn’t feel he got his $'s worth so you’re crying about how he feels.

I’d rather they had released it when they did rather than extend the release date. I’ll take small updates over time for these smaller problems.

This is my opinion and I know you don’t agree. But many of us are glad they released it when they did.

If either of you give me your specializations code, I will shut up and go play halo and be quite very happy.

Barring that, no, I am not happy with the current situation.

No talk if custom games. Another week wasted.

Many of us who were looking forward to 2v2, grifball, small maps, TS Pro fixes, and file share discussion are very pleased.

The whole week isn’t wasted.

Your issue might come up in the future.

A valid point and I agree to a point, but there are some issues that should have been worked out before the game ever hit shelves.
