Checkmate
I don’t need to address the arguments of a person who personally attacks people. Why waste my time any further than this? Cya.
Like I said, checkmate kiddo.
I completed all my quests over the weekend so didn’t have any to do.
To be honest, I was kind of glad though as that meant I could stop playing Fiesta and go back to rank and just focus on my K/D rating.
I am loving ranked multiplayer and the BP forces me to play other modes, oh well, it is what it is.
I have about 36 hours played.
Have done all the weeklies.
I still play the game. If anything getting the weeklies done frees me to play the way I want to play without being burdened by challenges.
Different strokes for different folks.
Ultimately most gamers do not care about challenges what-so-ever because majority of people are casuals.
This is a very niche issue.
Word? I thought I was the only one here you caught on quick to this guy’s lack of manners.
Once you finish Weekly , hop into ranked. I usually hop on the 343 hate wagon , due to the lack of customization and lack of Spartan gender/-Yoink!-. But I also give them credit where credit is due.
@Spartan0112 the reward IS climbing up to Onyx and above. Once the weeklies are done, it’s time for ranked. Any true competitive Halo gamer would agree. Does the progression system suck? Yes. Will I QQ in forums about it? No. I play halo to -Yoink- other players and climb as high as I can. I feel like most other good people do too
Yup.
In my case, I have no premium battle pass so no challenge swaps. The stupid event is taking up one challenge slot it seems, and my only remaining challenges relate to specific game modes. It’s not worth slogging through matches for 50XP each to get to the next rank (which unlocks me nothing.)
I want to play, but after each match I want to turn off the xbox more and more.
For fun duh, but they will give you further incentive sooner or later.
There is still one incentive to play: Having fun.

Thanks for the life-changing diagnostic, random stranger on the Halo Waypoint forum!
You realize that you sound like a complete psychopath? Get lost, dude.
Considering Halo Infinite has topped Xbox charts for 2 weeks now, I wouldn’t say players have left the game
Gameplay is more important than progression
As if your opinion is THE TRUTH and nothing else matters. Get lost.
If you can’t be civil then why are you on these forums? Did you want everyone to just agree with you?
Part of the problem is that players are going after the challenges versus the objective, which diminishes the fun for everyone. Who cares who wins or loses when your teammates are focused on completing a weapons challenge, or when you’re trying to find a single Stockpile match, and keep getting CTF or Slayer games?
The other part of the problem is that competitive based progression in a multiplayer is part of the fun for many, and when the progression isn’t fun it really takes away from the core gameplay experience. To me, the progression issue draws attention to itself and distracts from the core gameplay – which in of itself I find really fun.
I completed my weeklies today and didn’t care to play beyond that. With everyone going after a different challenge rather than the objective, in a progression system that doesn’t reward how well I perform relative to the objective, it doesn’t feel like there’s much point right now. Either do progression right, or don’t do it at all.
If someone speedruns a game, that doesn’t make the game bad, it just means they really wanted to complete it fast. Becoming max rank should be hard but not literally impossible. They could make it 2 billion then, if that’s what you want. They could even give a second type of Watchdog coating and armor for max rank players
Why so condescending?
If you wanna see it that way and only that way, then you miss the entire point I was making.
Do you have an issue of the content of what I said, or how it was inflected?
