I do not know if you think the same thing, but the double xp weekend was at the top, because there are a lot of new players it would be nice if they rise in rank to compete with those who have unlocked everything, and also allows the player 145 to see more, to climb 152 faster

However, XP doesn’t help with unlocking things. New players who don’t have all the permanent unlocks would benefit more from double RP, while not-so-new players who do have all the permanent unlocks would benefit more from double XP.
Don’t the gold star playlist give bonus EXP anyways?
Xp really is nothing in this game. Ita all rp. So double rp would be the thing to do
you play in firefight legendary , you win a lot RP ( 3000 ) without boost
