It’s taking way too long to make permanent playlists. Maybe I am impatient, but this game is in need of variety. How long until 343 decides put Infection, Grifball, KOTH, Oddball into Weekend playlists.
The whole point of their idea, is to gather data from what’s played most and chosen consecutively to make permanent playlists. It’s a waste of time honestly, because most people already know what they want to play. You’d think they’d know by now if they’ve been with Halo near the beginning (or even if they started late). On top of that, the line up for the Weekend playlists have been subpar, because some repeat and aren’t even official playlists. Also, Rumble Rockets… just bring Actuon Sack and toss that into there. No more ranked playlists for now plz.
People do not want a permanent Rumble Rockets playlist taking up space, they only voted for it because Halo 5 is lacking social gametypes. I just find it disappointing that Rumble Rockets makes it into the line up, yet we are still waiting for the classics to appear. At this point, how long will take to get a favorite into the lineup, what’s next week, CTF, Doubles and Incineration Rumble?
Quit teasing me 343. CTF already should be in team objective that should’ve been here day 1. Doubles should be a permanent due to the popularity it has had. Lastly bring back Assault!
I think there should still be weekend events but i totally agree we need more playlists. The fact an infection game-mode isn’t even on the game yet is annoying and this better be rectified before forge comes out and custom games with friends start to happen
Team Doubles should get a permanent spot. There is no 1v1 or 2v2 playlist?! I don’t get it. (There is a 2v2 tournament on teambeyond this weekend fyi, good stuff).
Add a Social. Add a Solo-Que maybe. I don’t care about Infection, but some people like that wierd stuff. Add it for them. What are they doing?
Team oddball should immediately be put into team arena, no doubts there. These gametypes are getting repetitive…doubles is also not variety in any sense. Doubles is just more friggin team slayer…we don’t need anymore slayer gametypes!
343 needs to think about this and act quicker, because as it is these weekend playlists are all lame as -Yoink-. team CTF as an option…really? Do they realize that pops up half the time in BTB and team arena as is? we don’t need it. We need stuff that is actually different…such as infection/oddball/KOTH with one hill at a time etc.
I’ll admit though I have no idea what grifball is, that must have been a more obscure mode in past Halos.

^^That is just sad. Either you never looked through the playlists, or you skipped Halo: Reach AND Halo 4. Grifball is the only real eSport Halo has had. (That word feels tainted.)
4v4 with swords and hammers in a box. Score points by taking the ball to the enemy spawn.
Grfiball was trash, not an esport. It was for kids with host and terrible K/D’s that wanted to spawn trap randoms and hit easy killionaires, or worse boost on AFK guests.

Is it really going to be ranked too? That must be a joke, otherwise you will find people crouching around corners with rockets as if something is at stake. I hope not, and it shouldn’t be taken seriously.

I understand doubles isn’t something really different, but it’s just an example of something that needs to be a permanent. Yet they are holding off for some reason. Weekend Playlists in general feel like they are offering very little and moving at snails pace. By the time they get to playlists/gametypes people really want, I feel like it will be months down the road. If they are going to add silly playlists into the Weekend, knowing full well that it will never be a permanent; then it’s just wasting our time tbh. Not saying it won’t be fun, but it will not be official rather tossed into Action Sack.

I want it too, but plenty of others do want doubles, you don’t have to play it. There is no rule that says you can’t have them both.
