I like OG breakout on those neon pro-forge maps but breakout on normal maps is easily my favorite game type in Halo 5. Please make it permanent somehow!!!

Agree, it’s far better than regular Breakout. Seems a lot more fair, I hate shoot first gametypes.

NO, normal breakout is so much better because of the maps. And dont get me started on the spawns and flag/home locations. Spawns and flag/homes are way to close to each other and on asymmetric maps give advantage to 1 side (looking at you plaza and rig). i played about 7 matches with my friends but then went to play normal breakout because of how unbalanced and broken the mode is. also you cant 1v2 in this weekend mode because the shields are normal, thus why breakout shields are lower.
EDIT: breakout is more about strategy and team positioning than 1v1 fights like in normal slayer
