For the last hour I’ve been working on my submission for the Ghost In The Shell Map Contest in the Forge PC Editor, when I was kicked from my map. Obviously I tried to go back in using Recovery Mode, but was told Forge couldn’t start a dedicated server, since you need to start one in order to edit maps. This is not an isolated problem, and affects people even if they’re using Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One…
I think it would be useful if HaloWaypoint had a page where players could check the status of dedicated servers, and (whilst logged in) indicate they are having problems through a multiple-choice support form. In turn, this would establish a direct line of communication between 343 Industries’ support team and players/map makers, allowing the QA department to provide updates to issues in real-time.
