Hi I’m wondering will the classic halo appear with the new shotgun? And will the plasma rifle and carbine also appears or could they appear later down the line? Just curious. other than that everything else about infinite is awesome
Anything is possible but I believe the shotgun in the demo was a replacement for the classic shotgun.
Honestly weapons seem pretty up in the air, they showed a bunch of new weapons, then in the trailer for a second they showed a BR, so they could have new and original.
Well what about the return of the old weapons? I’d like to see that. Bring back the Spartan Laser and Flamethrower for example.
I really miss the classic plasma rifle.
The classic shotgun is not in the game.
Very likely that the Pulse Carbine will replace either the classic Carbine or the Plasma Rifle or both, so not very likely they will both be in the game considering 343 replaced both the shotgun and Magnum already.

But im pretty sure they removed both the plasma rifle and carbine…and you dont need redundant weapons filling the same roles.
Everything that can be done with a plasma rifle can be done with a plasma pistol… except plasma rifle is faster with fire rate… and plasma pistol has more capabilities… like supercharging.
The covanant carbine could do everything the dmr or battle rifle could… so im assuming instead of those redundant roles… they made a middle role… where a weapon was both good at taking down shields and was accurate at mid ranges. THats the new weapon we saw in the trailer.
Notice how the Mangler is also not excalty fitting a role of a shotgun anymore as the mauler in halo 3 was. I imagine each weapon has its own specialty.
I imagine, we probably wont be getting the beam rifle, fuel rod cannon…etc for the same reasons.
Fuel rod cannon mirrors a rocket launcher too closely.
Beam rifle too close to a sniper rifle… (probably going to get something like a focus rifle instead)
Brute shot is probably being replaced by the raveger… for what ever reason that is… maybe to distance the brute shot from a potential grenade launcher? maybe
This is all speculation, but I think based on what we saw that could be the reasoning.
I like the decision UwU… cant wait till people murder me for my opinion thou XD.

This is very discouraging.
I want the battle rifle, saw and the dmr from halo 4 to return I really like those 3 weapons.

The saw has a weapon that looks very similar to it in the trailer… and the battle rifle is already confirmed to return .
I wouldnt get your hopes too high for th dmr thou. It seems its not going to return.
