I think the Needler rifle should return I liked using that weapon in Halo Reach also the grenade launcher and concussion rifle and maybe the beam rifle as well what weapons would you all want to return
Definitely a fan of seeing some older weapons returning. A galaxy on the run is the perfect excuse to bring back weapons from decades ago (in-universe), like the needle rifle.
100% needle rifle needs to come back. It was such a beautiful weapon and could out shoot the dmr. Yeah it was a bit weaker but the fire rate meant it still had a slightly higher kill time than the dmr. Plus who doesn’t like turning people into unicorns? Or into pink mist which is like a unicorn but blended.

Maybe flamethrower, brute weaponry & various carryable heavy weapons?
Some grenades would also be good.
I would like to see a nice mixture of old and new. The fan remake of Halo: CE had some really fun and unique new weapons like the brute needler and more. So maybe draw inspiration from there and new ideas as well.
I personally like the idea of the in match rec system. not the loot box part obviously, but the part were you can unlock higher level recs based on how well you do in game. i think instead of unlocking new recs in loot boxes you should be able to unlock the high level recs through achievements or player level. like in order to get the halo 2 BR you need to have the halo 2 legendary achievement or something like that. i also think once you unlock the rec you should get to use it unlimited times instead of having to get it over and over again. but in order to balance it you should only be able to use the rare recs once a match, it would force players to be more thoughtful when they use ther high level recs. it would also stop people from spamming op recs all game.
