What would you all think of a magazine feed shotgun you could reload a lot faster I think and if we were to fight the flood again being able to reload the shotgun faster would be very useful what do you think
We have drum magazine semi-auto shotguns now, so it’s not out of the question for the UNSC to have them too. It certainly would be more efficient for fighting the Flood. That being said, I like the classic pump-action shotgun we have in Halo. If we were to have a semi-auto shotgun, I fear we would see the death of the pump-action version, which is just so iconic.
The weapons are directly attached to the multiplayer, it is necessary to think of balancing in priority, something that Halo 5 do not.
Great idea in theory, but it would probably do very little damage per shot in order to keep things balanced. And the area in which it would be effective would probably be very situational.
