I’m not sure if I’m the only one with this problem but here’s what’s happening: I’m in the middle of gameplay, I come around the corner and there’s an enemy there. So far so good right? Wrong. Regardless of what weapon I’m using, I repeatedly press RT to shoot, but nothing happens. And the controllers responding just fine since I’m strayfing and jumping to dodge, but the weapons doesn’t shoot for the first few presses, and then it will start shooting. But it doesn’t matter at that point since I have no shields by then and I’m dead. It’s happened a few times but I didn’t think much of it at first. I thought it was my imagination but my recent game made it very clear that I’m not making things up. This time, it was a covenant weapon (the name currently escapes me, it’s the covenant version of the SMG or AR). I came off the sprint, pulled the weapon up, and held the trigger, but it wouldn’t shoot. By the time it would start shooting I’m already screwed.
No weapons but I had a banshee that could shoot. The only problem was I couldn’t turn, roll or dive. Just a straight line off the map into the wide blue yonder.
So maybe it’s software and not the controllers?

maybe it’s just your RT button?
Do you have a controller with a trigger stop? Like the elite or a Scuf?
