Does anyone know if it is possible to choose in a custom games setting to have default weapons placed on a map? If not, does anyone know of any classic versions of HALO 4 maps with weapons placed on them?

No, I mean for any weapons (like “map defaults”) to be PLACED on map, rather than called in through ordnance? I’m trying to play some classic-style Halo on Halo 4, because I like the H4 maps.
Oh, my mistake. I’m not sure about that one. I would assume you would somehow change the game type so that it wasn’t an Infinity version of the game and then ordinance drops wouldn’t happen.

there is no option, but I have been wanting to forge them for awhile now, just haven’t gotten around to any but Ragnarok. That one was easy, didn’t have to think, just copied Valhalla.
Yes, it’s very much possible. None of the maps in my File Share use ordnance drops.
People who don’t know the answer should stop spreading lies. It IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE to make a map and not use ordinance drops
