Weapons on picture on ODST

Do you guys remember that strange piece of paper you could find on the ground in ODST, which had on it some strange weapons. People at the time thought that it could be the weapons for Halo Reach, but when Reach rolled around that wasn’t the case.

I was just wondering now if perhaps it was the early concept art for Halo 4 put into the game as a little easter egg that people could look back at in the future.

I had a search for the image to try and find it again, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. If someone could provide me with a link it would be much appreciated.

These were for the cancelled Halo MMO, like Warcraft in space. 343 intends for their weapons to feel “gritty and warlike”. Probably a lot sleeker too.

Those guns look like Forerunner weapons…

I wouldn’t mind those in Halo 4.

I saw three-shot burst AR from ME2 there in 4 different colours and the F2000.

Interesting.

I doubt it but it would be nice if they would be in halo 4.

Of course they could have been for the canceled MMO game, but I think they were a nod to the future concept art for Halo 4 weapons.

Some of those look pretty stupid. I never actually saw that until now.

Probably Reach concepts. Some of them have similar features to the Plasma Repeater and Concussion Rifle.
