I have completed the commendations for dmr, plasma grenade,energy sword and shotgun and for no reason. I think you be able to unlock a specialization for each weapon for example a new weapons camo or say a plasma dagger or something like that, any thoughts on this?

I much prefer having to work to complete each category (ordinance, loadout, etc…) for a reward rather than individual weapons or grenades. Besides that there is a massive amount of weapons in the game; making a weapon or specialization would be far too many loadout options to choose from when they’re already so numerous.
Plus it’s just gratifying seeing a loadout or ordinance checkbox filled in :3 one measly master rank in a single weapon just seems… miniscule to me (unless it’s the plasma pistol)
An emblem of the weapon or an extra skin would be nice.
Adding an attachment to the weapon? This just doesn’t belong in Halo.
Mastery should give you a skin for each Loadout weapon. Or maybe you could have your Spartan holding a weapon that you’ve mastered in lobby.
The skin idea would be nice, it could only work for loadout weapons though.

It would be cool if the weapon skin colors you’d unlock would match your custom colored armor.
EDIT: also what if you could unlock like a mauler skin for the Boltshot, or a needle rifle skin for the carbine.

haha agreed. I played hours and hours of regicide and finished PP legit. And I didn’t get anything for it… But it still feels nice to complete it i guess
