However I would like weapon skins to like like previous versions.
Such as a skin for the Battle rifle that made it look like the one in Halo 3 (so just black really) and less like a nerf gun.
Or a skin for the Assault rifle that made it look like the one from REACH.
It would be cool to bring the SMG back, but with no duel wielding, what would be the point?
That would be interesting. However in loadout there should be only these weapons, which are balanced to each other. Otherwise everybody would run with H1’s Pistol + H2’s BR/H4’s DMR.
I would love to see it happen, Balance issues can be fixed. Tho some of the weapons should be a gametype settings. Which pistol will be on the map, which SMG will be on the map. But over all, balancing shouldn’t be that big of an issue, and they have back end tuning in Halo 5, they should have things balanced a lot quicker.
Also, some weapons should be Campaign and Spartan Ops only.
The only balance issue I can think of is the return of the CE magnum.
Other than that, I’d love to see this happen.

The SMG and dual wield need to make a comeback. And if ordinance sticks around, secondary weapons can be added into the rotation to limit the destabilization caused by power weapons and making dual wielding a bit more useful. I wouldn’t be opposed a Spiker, either.
