LMAOO. ur joking right? First of all the dude is on Xbox. The original one. Not even the latest one.
Second halo 5 isn’t shown at all. So your claim that it became weaker from Halo 5 doesn’t hold any weight

Just a suggestion,… I felt like lots of weapons felt “off” when i started playing. Over a little time, and very importantly, I used the weapon drills to get more comfortable with them. I have played the sniper, AR, BR, Commando ones a lot and it really has helped. I think the weapon drills have been a fabulous addition.
I miss having 50% AR vs BR starts in social game modes. There is only one ranked playlist when there used to be several. So if you want to start with the BR you have to play ranked. I think this limits the experience overall. Not all social players want to spray and charge in for melees. Both options should be available, randomly selected, since we don’t have vetos anymore.
Lmfao right, because Xbox model determines aim assist?
Okie dokie ![]()
Where’s your proof Volt? I’ve been waiting patiently for the evidence to support your claim. You’re so busy trashing and ripping on my example you have yet to provide one of your own. Did you think I’d just forget?
Never made the comparison to Halo 5, that was you. I merely suggested it was weaker generally and provided an example proving my point.
So unless somehow Halo 5’s aim assist was comparatively weaker than Halo 3’s aim assist, which puts Infinite’s in the middle between the two, you’re just flat out wrong. Unless of course you have proof that combats my own?
Even the bullet magnetism is generally stronger in Halo 5 compared to Halo 3.

Unless you got some proof backing up your claim, I anticipate another mockery of my proof purporting my claim to divert attention away from the fact you have nothing by comparison.
Edit: wow called that one ![]()
I guess we’ll find out whose right when/if the average player base comes back after the bigger problems are solved and if they stay or not.
This is kind of the point I’m making when it comes to the learning curve.
While they are great additions, the tutorials don’t really explain HOW to use the weapon to its max efficiency. You have to figure that part out on your own (or YouTube it to get direction)
So all it does is speed up your natural experience with the weapons, meaning that the devs indirectly acknowledge that to address the learning curve with these weapons, players need help to speed up their experience with them to the level where they can get enjoyment from them rather than they just being enjoyable to use out of the gate with some experience.
Which in my mind (again, just opinion), is a red flag for a game whose fighting for players time and attention.
I never said it was stronger. I said it was stronger because you can’t thrust. Without the thrust you can’t escape the aim assist. This making it more of a pain to deal with.
Ur right you didn’t make the claim that it was weaker someone else did. HOWEVER I asked you to prove that it was and you showed me a video that doesn’t.
the whole shock weapons additions are genuanly unfun. like i would unironically prefer the homing of the promethian weapons of H5 over what is essencially afterburn but with electricity. oh and the fact that the entire weapon set is just anti-vehicle. legit the disruptor stole the role of the plasma pistol, making the pistol useless
and the shot rifle is just a better sniper. also two shots to stun vehicles? god that’s so annoying to fight against. it’s like “welp, can’t do grunt here. just gotta hope my teamates can shoot the person that’s across the map-… oh, okay, i’l just keep on not moving-… aaand now i’m dead because i couldn’t do anything”
the pulse carbine is an interesting idea… it has its use against shields, taking the role of the plasma rifle, okay. but given how op the AR is… there is no reason to use this gun
the kenetic weapons are… actually okay, fun even. i like em
what i don’t like is the AR… there’s no reason to remove it from your hands. it is equally if not more effective at killing that the SHOTGUN-… bulldog. the only time you want to drop it is when there’s a power weapon, since by that point you’l have a precision weapon in your back pocket
the ravager after using it a lot… isn’t actually bad. the primary fire is terrible, yeah. but the ult charge fire is surprisingly powerful… i kinda want them to remove the primary burst fire and have it stick with the charge shot
hammer, sword, sniper, rockets, br, sidekick, hyrda, mangler, and commando are fine. though the desyncing problem certainly makes them inconsistent. br shots not landing. hammer swings not killing when they should and vice versa, sniper shots landing yet doing nothing… so on
Okay, bye, have fun!
Aim assist is built in cheating. No one on a PC gets anything. So we get used for 2 thousand yard headshots. It ruins teh game when you think everynoe is cheating.
The “Aim assist” is aimbot for xbox users. Mouse users get nothing.
I have over 4000 games. I am put in games with nothing but pistols. I rarely, if ever get a decent weapon. So I have to find my first kill or someone elses. Then we’re down bu 6. happens in almost every game.
That’s a bit extreme of an understanding.
Aim assist is artificial functional compromise, without it Console shooters as we know them wouldn’t exist. If it’s officially supported, it’s a feature not a cheat. Suggesting aim assist is cheating is akin to suggesting high refresh rate/resolution monitors are cheating, tunable controllers/mice/keyboards are cheating, performance hardware is cheating, configurations in the settings are cheating. A game where everyone was given the same exact performance, setup, and control scheme would be a rather boring game.
Aim assist can be overpowered, but it can also be underpowered. Truth be told I’m on the fence about AA as it’s represented in Infinite, saying this as a MNK PC player.
A good example of aim assist being superior to mechanical aim is Halo MCC where the original aim assist from the games exists. Comparatively a good example of mechanical aim being superior to aim assist is in Overwatch where aim assist is good enough to make the game playable on console but far inferior to MNK when pitted against each other.
Another exaggeration to be sure.
It’s best not to assume everyone is cheating then, kinda ruins the fun when you purposefully expect and look for things to be upset about.
