Weapons and Equipment pickup feels sparse in Deadlock and Highpower when compared to Fragmentation

Maybe I just haven’t done these maps enough… But in Fragmentation it’s not only very easy to grab new guns: it’s very easy to initially figure out where you will find guns due to the excellent map design.

In Deadlock and Highpower I seem to spend a lot more time without equipment or non-default guns.

I think a few more placements in Deadlock and Highpower would be a good tweak.

Thoughts?

I’d say play some more i think they all have a healthy amount.
My issue is the gungoose and dp challenge. I haven’t seen one yet.

The placement isn’t too bad, but I think op is right about Fragmentation having more ease of access and multiple options in a smaller area, especially since there are four weapon spawns at the top of the base and four(or three?) in the undercroft. And then there’s a spawn at the base of each ramp on the sides. That’s already ten weapons available in a condensed space.

On deadlock, you get two weapons inside the base proper and a grenade and weapon spawn, there’s a weapon spawn behind the base far to either side, and on either modular area to each side there’s one or two weapons, a grenade spawn, and a vehicle on one of them. In the starting vicinity there’s a comparable amount of options, but it does feel more spread out in Deadlock than the more clustered feel in Fragmentation. I don’t know if this has anything to do with the fact that the Deadlock bases have a mounted turret available.

I think Highpower is situated kind of between them; there’s a larger grouping of options at the bases and enough other spawns spread out between. I don’t usually have trouble finding something serviceable in Highpower or Fragmentation, but it can take extra time to run to a spawn in Deadlock while opening yourself to enemy fire especially if your teammates have respawned ahead of you and swiped everything nearby.
