Weapon zoom using Fishstick issues

Using the Fishstick button layout, weapon zoom is used by pressing the LT. In halo 4, you could quickly tap or not completely pull the LT, and the zoom would lock in place. This would then allow you to zoom in again when using snipers or certain rifle scopes. However, in Halo 5, this is not the case.

I am only able to zoom in once with my snipers via LT with the Fishstick button layout. I can’t zoom in more than once while using the Fishstick button layout. I have tried everything. Is anyone else having this issue? 343, will this be fixed? I just want to know if I am doing something wrong here.

And no, the answer is not for me to just change my button layout because changing a button layouts should not mean sacrificing a basic function that is necessary for gameplay.

I don’t know if this will help but I use green thumb and LT is my zoom. When I want to zoom again I press Left Stick and it goes to max zoom. Give it a go.
