Have you ever wanted to be able to add scopes and different size mags in halo 5 just like call of duty because I have and I can’t find a way to contact 343 to ask if they could do that update if not I understand but if they did it would be epic.
The BR/Pistol/DMR already have multiple options for scopes and mag sizes as well as the various classes of sniper rifles/rockets. What weapons do you want scopes on? If you don’t have everything unlocked then I can see where you come from, but the options are definitely out there.
Edit: Yea so seeing as you’re SR35 all you have to do is keep unlocking new items (use silver packs until you don’t unlock anything else then switch to gold).

This is already in the game. You just need to unlock them.

No, because anything even closely related to COD makes my hands start to itch and a rant about how Spartans are supersoldiers and would therefor kill everyone involved in COD’s multiplayer and campaign without so much as a scratch bubble up in my throat.

I’m not surprised your not getting an answer from 345 as it’s 343i , so they probably haven’t been receiving you !!! Lol
Halo 5 already has…
7 different scopes.
Two different ammo types.
Two different melee attachments.
5 barrel types.
Something like 12 perks.
That’s just off the top of my head, I might even be missing some. These are all called different things than they’re called in CoD, but they pretty much function the same.
You can only use them in any warzone game mode, and with your low level you likely just have to wait until you’ve unlocked them.
If I wanted to have a Iron Sights DMR with Supressor & Extended mag, I’ll play Call of Duty for that or Titanfall
So my Answer is “No”
And also there are variants for each Req Loadout category, and realising you’re around your 30s rank, just grind the Silver packs to get some Loadouts
I wish I could add them on the fly, especially in campaign. Something like Crysis’ weapon mod system.
Edit: To clarify, just for campaign/PvE elements. PvP should not have that, too much unnecessary complexity.
Halo 5 has a very limited form of weapon customization in Warzone and it does not need to go all out on it like other games.
The furthest Halo should go with weapon customization is the ability to choose what scope and attachment you’d like to equip together. You can pair any scope in the game with one attachment. The game would play exactly as it does now with the loadouts, however you are now free to choose any scope and attachment.
As it stands, some scopes don’t have any attachments and some attachments are only usable with the basic form of the weapons. The Hybrid and Hybrid variants of the loadout weapons are just that, the scopes. You can’t use a silencer or energy bayonet with them. It’s just the base weapon with a new scope. Meanwhile, attachments like the sound dampener and extended mag do not support any scopes. If you want to use them, you are forced to use the base version of those weapons. That means you can’t pair them with a scope on the SMG and AR and you can’t use something like the classic or longshot scopes for the BR and DMR. I’d love to use some of these scopes and attachments but they are so awkward or useless compared to other loadout weapons because they offer a different scope and attachment.
