Weapon tweaking

We should be able to modify how performs weapons just as we could for our spartans (Shield, damage dealt/received, gravity, move speed…). The modification could be on damage dealt, fire rate, ammo capacity and so on.

This could give us the ability to create even better custom games without having to mod the game.

With this we could more easily replicate the gameplay of Halo CE for example by augmenting the ammo capacity of the AR to 60, lowering it’s damage, buffing the Sidekick to make it three headshot kill as well as player movement (no sprint, clamber, slide, adjusted movespeed).

What do you think ?

As far as we know, there is an upgrade tab in the Campaign, but we don’t know much about it. Hopefully, it takes a more DOOM 4-like aspect, where you earn battle tokens and can use themto upgrade certain weapons.

Honestly I would love to have extremely in-depth weapon tuning for custom games. I’m interested in the new equipment system, but I’d rather see how it plays in a sandbox without sprint and weapons tuned similar to Halo 3, It’d be awesome if we could tune the game settings that much to do that. After all, the game is supposed to be the only halo we get for 10 years, it’d be nice to fundamentally change how the game behaves in customs and really get some variety in the gametypes people create
