Hey everybody, I’ve been playing Halo 5 for awhile now and I notice that some of the weapons work best in very specific situations. In my opinion, I think the weapons need another look at and adjust the damage and perfomance again.
I recall in Halo 4, after a certain amount of time, the weapons got rebalanced and certain weapons performed much better than before. This was both a good/bad thing for some. Now I am not saying the guns do need to be changed, but what I am saying is that it should get at least another look at. Maybe they could do a test playlist for it. It could just be me, but what do you think? Do the guns need to be rebalanced/tuned?

The main weapons that I feel like need some attention are the assault rifle, suppressor, magnum, and the grenades. The two automatic weapons in my opinion need a slight boost in damage to make them a bit more lethal. I’ve had a few encounters where a full clip wasn’t enough to kill a spartan. These are just a few cases though.
The AR, Brute Plasma Rifle, and Suppressor are the only three weapons I think worthy of a very minor tweak.
The AR in particular I’d like to see it’s reticle reduced down to approximately the size of a precision weapon such as the Magnum, BR, DMR, Carbine, or LR, but paired with a bloom effect and a little more recoil. That bloom effect could potentially scatter some of the bullets outside of the weapon’s bullet magnetism and aim assist (which tends to be related to the initial reticle size) when maintaining a full auto spray and the slight recoil effect could cause some minor aim drift. This should cause players to be more skillful with the weapon to find success up close and potentially at distance too. Up close a player will need to demonstrate more precision with their general aim to keep the bullets focused on their opponent and at medium distances a player will likely need to exhibit some pulse and crouch firing techniques to maintain accuracy in landing bullets.
As for the other two weapons I wonder if reducing their initial reticle sizes slightly (not necessarily to the same degree) might help these weapons similarly as to the descriptive thoughts I provided for the AR.
