"weapon tune" in customs?

I played online with the new weapon tune update, and I like to keep my offline games consistent with the online ones, so I want to download the balanced maps and game settings, however, after downloading the new Haven and IS game-type and playing with a friend, the BR is still a 5sk, the DMR still has range etc etc.

How can I play a custom with the new weapon tune update?

:edit:

I did look into the settings myself, the only thing there is to modify is player speed, but that’s always been there.

Play a game variant in Matchmaking, and then save it from your File Browser’s Temporary History.

(Think of the weapon-tuning update as a bunch of hidden Custom Game options that only the developers can edit.)

Hm, did this, I don’t understand why it didn’t work then?
I will try again tomorrow, perhaps I 'nuffed it up somehow.

Just checking for clarification that this is indeed what I was supposed to do.

Yeah, all those hidden ones…

Follow what my fellow Waypoint Monitor has stated above!

However, you can also just grab the edited files from 343 Industries’ File Share. Here is a link to all gametypes with the weapon-tuning updates that bs angel tweeted me.

Hope you enjoy!

P.S.
As said above, you will most likely be able to fool around with the altered weapons from the update in these gametypes, as they are a lot different in the disc-shipped files.

In that link all of the files were uploaded in 2012, That can’t be accurate?

The files were uploaded in November 6, 2012, because that was the game’s release date.

I have saved and tried out the files myself on my own Xbox, and it is very clear that the weapons have been altered. In custom options, you can also see that movement speed has been bumped up to 110%.

That’s just how developer-created gametypes work. They don’t add a created/modified date to their gametypes.
