I’ve been trying to keep up with Halo 5 Guardians news, but couldn’t see anywhere about weapon swapping. I saw you could order your AI companions to exchange their weapon for one on the ground, but am curious if we can walk upto them and switch weapons as we could with marines in Halo 2/3/ODST/4. In Reach we could switch with marines but not with the rest of Noble Team.
Having seen the loadouts that each character gets, I was wondering, if for the sake of Single Player legendary, if we could say, exchange chiefs assault rifle for Freds DMR. Otherwise it seems that Kelly/Vale will have pretty weak starting sets for Legendary. Or will each mission start with a convenient array of weapons lying around to switch with?
Yeah, you can order your squad to pick up weapons and use them. However, I think if you give them say a rocket launcher they don’t get unlimited ammo. In all the other Halo games I would just give the marines rocket launchers and Splasers and they would just kill everything for me.
Thats interersting and something I have not thought of.
