Can we still weapon swap with allies in Campaign? I like giving the marines all the weird weapons.
I see no reason for them to disable the function of us giving marines weird weapons 
I don’t see why not. Been around since Halo 2.
Even if it’s a difference like such, I don;t really see much of a reason to remove that from Halo.
What if an ODST has the rockets and all I have it a pistol with one magazine? I’m sorry, but my life > his.

I hope so. Its more effective at times to give the warthog passenger a rocket launcher and then drive while having a backseat gunner.
I very much doubt they would remove that function in the game.
Though it is essential to the Halo experience, I hope 343 cuts down the necessity to arm them with power weapons. Also, if there are invincible/resurrecting friendly AI, I hope it’s possible to give them weapons or even take away weapons from them (to make them unarmed).
No it breaks canon! It does things with the guy and the chief who can do the stuff with the gun, plus there’s the grunts who do the kinda grunty thing that you can find exclusively in the grunt’s natural habitat that completely interfere with the idea of the guns and the trading and the haggling. Then there’s the issue of the man just wanting to hold this gun he spent 20 minutes prying from a dead elite’s hands just for the chief to come and demand it so he can waste it while he fires at said elite while inserting his chief sized nuts into the open jaw of the poor elite. Plus you can’t explain why the chief would need the thing, from the marine who just joined the war to stop his -Yoinking!- wife from nagging him all the gad damn time and all he wants to do is sit and home and read his damn paper that he’s been keeping their for six weeks and yet every time he cracks it open like a motion sensor her mouth goes off for 2 hours as he sits there and takes it and feels his life crumbling around him as he questions what happened to the woman he married and the man he once was twenty years ago.

Yeah, I see no reason for them to remove it.
Know what I’d like to see? A “request swap” option in multiplayer. Occasionally I get the sniper rifle and I know I someone on my team’s better than me with it, so maybe there should be something where you go up to the guy and if both of you hold down “X” or something you trade weapons.
Just a thought.
