What if the assassination animation changed depending on what weapon the player is holding. The Energy Sword already has its own assassinations. The main ones i though of were:
-turn the hammer and whack the other player with the bladed end
-kick the other player to the ground and bash their helmet in with it
-hard punch to the gut to break shield, followed by a bullet to the underside of their skull
Other Brute weapons:
-[no explanation required]
-Tackle the other player, then clobber them with the stock of the weapon
-hit over the head with the stock, then bullet in the head
-Tackle the other player to the ground, and put a shell into the back of their skull
-Similar to what Thorne does in a Spartan Ops, knock the other player down and shoot them in the face

Would work like the flamerthrower execution in GOW3 where ammo isn’t used despite the weapon being fired.
